AI KEYNOTE SPEAKER
AI and the future of your organization, told by a futurist
Peter Joosten is an independent AI keynote speaker and innovation scientist. He does not talk about the tool of the quarter. He shows your audience where artificial intelligence is taking their work, their sector and their organization, and what they can start doing tomorrow. Grounded in research and full of real examples from organizations that are already working with AI.
Booked by organizations such as ASML, BCG, T-Mobile, Tata Steel and ABN AMRO.

Who is Peter?
Peter Joosten MSc is an AI keynote speaker, innovation scientist and futurist from the Netherlands. His research background is in how organizations adopt new technology, and that is still the lens he uses on AI: not what the tools can do, but what it takes for people to actually use them. He worked on futures research at the Copenhagen Institute for Future Studies, is a guest lecturer at Eindhoven University of Technology and Windesheim University of Applied Sciences, and speaks for companies, hospitals and governments across Europe.
AI adoption is people work
Most AI projects do not fail on technology. They fail on people: habits, fear, unclear ownership and a culture that punishes experiments. That is why this keynote is not a product demo. Peter explains why some teams embrace AI and others quietly ignore it, and what leaders can do about it. Your audience leaves knowing which AI tools are worth adopting now and how to build a team that actually uses them.
Peter’s method: the 5I model
AI only creates value when it turns into innovation. That is why Peter works with his own method, the 5I model. It takes your organization from a loose AI idea to a working result in five steps:
- Identify: choose where AI should make a difference, based on your strategy.
- Inventory: collect the trends, tools and customer needs that matter.
- Ideation: turn them into concrete ideas for your team.
- Iteration: test small, learn fast and drop what does not work.
- Implementation: introduce what works, technically and socially, so people actually use it.
In the keynote, your audience learns the model through real examples. It is also available as a hands-on innovation workshop after the keynote. In this video, Peter explains the five steps.
For which sectors?
Business
From manufacturing to insurance: AI is changing production, customer contact and decision making. Peter helps leadership teams turn AI experiments into a competitive advantage.
Government
Public organizations face the same AI wave with extra responsibilities: public trust, regulation and accountability. Peter worked seven years as a researcher and advisor in the public domain and spoke for more than 60 government organizations.
Healthcare
Peter has delivered more than 120 keynotes and workshops in healthcare. AI is reshaping diagnostics, administration and patient contact. This keynote shows how to move forward without losing the human dimension.
The organization of tomorrow
What does an organization look like that has genuinely built AI into its strategy, its processes and its culture? Peter combines his futurist research with scenario planning to sketch where your sector is heading in the next five to ten years. Not to predict the future, but to help you make decisions today that still hold up tomorrow.

Why Peter as your AI keynote speaker?
- A scientist, not a consultant. Peter is an innovation scientist (MSc) and former journalist. He explains how AI really works and what the research says, in plain language.
- Independent. As an AI keynote speaker he has no software, platform or follow-up project to sell. That keeps the advice honest.
- His own model. The 5I model takes your organization from a loose AI idea to a working result in five steps: Identify, Inventory, Ideation, Iteration and Implementation.
- A futurist’s view. Instead of chasing hypes, Peter connects AI to the long-term trends that shape your sector, so your strategy lasts longer than the next model release.

Watch Peter’s keynote at TEDx Delft
At Delft University of Technology, Peter gave his TEDx talk My Lessons as a Human Guinea Pig, about what he learned from testing new technology on himself. The question behind it still drives his AI keynotes: what happens when people actually start living with new technology?
